Another to consider implementing is to limit the number of WUs a computer can have to the number of CPU threads times an integer, e.g. 2t, 3t or 4t.
I don't know anything about the server side.

When you restart the BOINC Manager, do the tasks resume from 0% or from where you left off? They should continue from the previous percentage.

I suspended 3 WUs: 00:38:47 15.8%, 00:43:48 11.1%, and 00:01:53 0.4%.
Then rebooted computer and unsuspended those 3 WUs. They restarted with elapsed time at zero and the same percent complete they suspended with: 00:00:00 15.8%, 00:00:00 11.1%, and 00:00:00 0.4%.
Does being "stateless" mean you don't have to write a snapshot of some break-point to storage?

You DL far more WUs than can be completed by their deadline. Sometimes I think this is a problem for new projects until BOINC learns how to estimate how long they take to run, although I have no idea how this is actually done. One of my computers got 999 WUs before I switched it to "No New Work." That's about 4,000 hours of work and even if I ran 35 of its 36 CPU threads on LODA they'd never finish before their one week deadline.

Some projects have a section in their Preferences where one can specify how many WUs a computer can have. The default values are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or unlimited. I recommend adding that feature but changing the pulldown menu to offer 0,1,2,4,8,16,32,64,256 or unlimited.

Just use f(i) and use colors or symbols like 1M for a million points. Use the conventional curvy f as in function of i (for integers). E.g., https://www.rapidtables.com/math/symbols/Basic_Math_Symbols.html
Or capital sigma for series.

Still have not seen a checkpoint after restart stabilization. Elapsed Time = Time Since Last Checkpoint.

Depending on the project, you can try to open the folder containing the files in the slot directory of your task and you may find some txt (or xml) files including more information on the on-going checkpointing.

I just clicked through all my slot folders and I didn't find anything for LODA. I also looked through the LODA project folder.

So far BoincTasks has yet to indicate a checkpoint has been made on 2205.23 WUs.
Sometimes the checkpointing does not report properly but it is actually checkpointing.
I've requested Suspend on Checkpoint but have yet to see a WU suspend.
How frequent are the checkpoints?
8) Questions and Answers : Feature requests : Memory Hog (Message 266)

Looks like LODA needs about 1 GB RAM per WU. I see that if I load too many LODA WUs they slow down and estimate needing a day instead of a few hours to complete. Suspending some of the WUs speeds them back up.
Usually this is dealt with using an app_config file limiting the number of WUs for a project based on how many CPU threads one is running and how much RAM the computer has divided by some rule-of-thumb, e.g. 32 GB/(1.2 GB/WU)=26 WU.
Is BOINC capable of enforcing memory limitations so as to not run too many WUs?

Do you know much L3 cache these WUs use?
This has sometimes required a rule-of-thumb (e.g. MIP) to not run too many WUs that significantly slow down calculations.
