On Windows, we now also include a minimal git package as part of the BOINC app. You may try it w/o manual installation of Git for Windows. On Linux and macOS, you still need to install it yourself. Looks like you've just signed up to LODA and LHC and only downloaded tasks this morning, which I think means that git is installed correctly.
