I don't understand why a few weeks ago the counter for the programs I discovered showed 1317, but now it shows 1286.
How can this number decrease ?

the number can decrease because existing programs are updated (overrriden) when better versions are found. You can check the history of changes here:

I didn't know that once a program was found, the search continued for a better one !
So I had misunderstood and thought that the LODA project was looking for optimal programs that generate sequences of integers.
This is very interesting.
