On all my PCs I've had to occasionally do a project reset. Something gets corrupted on a task then every task after that error's out. A reset then it runs fine for awhile.

Not enough CPU usage will cause a task to cancel/abort itself. About every 30 min it seems like there's a check in the task where it aborts if there hasn't been enough processing.

As far as I'm concerned, I have several errors a day, but most of them are well calculated.
Occasionally, however, 100% of my WUs go wrong, right down to the last one.
I then have to interrupt my calculations on the project, which is a real shame.
I've never managed to run this project for several months without interruption as I'd like !
I'm on Ubuntu with an AMD threadripper.

Is a reset the same as detaching and reattaching?

A reset deletes all cached data, but it doesn't require you to sign out/in again.
